Ghana TVET Service Commends JICA Volunteers for Outstanding Contributions
Director General of TVET meets with Donor partner
On Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, JICA’s Japanese IT Volunteers paid a courtesy call on Mr. David Prah, Director General of Ghana TVET Service. The volunteers, including Ryosuke Kaida, Moses Kanno Atsushi, and Akira Ishibash, presented their accomplishments after completing their volunteer work in three (3) TVET Institutes facilitated by Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA)
Ryosuke Kaida, assigned to Nerebehi Technical Institute, highlighted his role in securing eight sets of computers and other interventions. Similarly, Moses Kanno Atsushi and Akira Ishibash shared their achievements at Takoradi Technical Institute and New Century Technical Institute, respectively.
Mr. David Prah expressed his gratitude to JICA and the Japanese Volunteers for their timely support, acknowledging Japan’s remarkable contributions to Ghana’s TVET Transformation Plan. He encouraged the volunteers to maintain connections with their assigned institutes as they depart.
The courtesy call was attended by JICA representatives Mr. Stephen Addi and Mr. Wada Yoshinuri, further solidifying the partnership between Ghana TVET Service and JICA.
